  • Cath is a physiotherapist, with a full-time academic appointment with teaching, research and administrative responsibilities. In 2011 she moved from the University of Sydney to Macquarie University to established NSW’s first professional entry Doctor of Physiotherapy degree. Her research has focussed on developing and testing of rehabilitation strategies to increase activity and participation, reduce falls and translating evidence into practice after stroke.  With Professor Lindy Clemson, she is currently leading an NHMRC funded trial to evaluate home-based tailored intervention to reduce falls after stroke www.faststudy.com.au.
