Christian Lueck qualified in medicine from Cambridge and St. Thomas’s Hospital, London, in 1982. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of London in 1991, and trained in neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. He became a Consultant Neurologist in Edinburgh, U.K. in 1994 and worked there until he moved to Canberra in 2003. He is now a Senior Staff Specialist at the Canberra Hospital where he is Clinical Director of the Neurology Department and Head of the Stroke Unit. He is a Professor at the Australian National University Medical School. His specialist interests include neuro-ophthalmology, stroke, and medical education.
